Jonas(guitar) and Jason(vocals, drums) met in 2010 at the community college in Oakland, starting jamming and put out “Lowlander”, their first full project in August of 2016. Hailing from Alameda, Orbiting Pluto's sound brings the fullness of punk to the land of synth-pop, and with the underlying rawness of indie rock, he takes you to the sweeping valleys of icy outer planetoids all the way back home to the heart. After releasing their first album "False Predictions for the End of the World" in 2015, Orbiting Pluto's Michael Johnson has been working tirelessly on their sophomore album Turing Test, due out next year.
